Catalina Guirado has a great story that has led her to the role as SVP, Media Relations and Personality host for LP33.tv shows. As SVP, Media Relations she is tasked with responsibility of communications and public relations activities that include helping the public to understand the company and its products, and to ensure the overall company has a strong public image.

Domestic and international promotions, media strategy, and her keen sensibility for leveraging out-of-the box partnership opportunities are part of her primary activities. Cat's unique experience and knowledge in effective techniques for grabbing attention, and ability to understand that quality and image are equally important to drive interest and results in the most interesting way possible to the company's public offerings.

As a performer, songwriter, and media personality she knows our audience well, and brings the value of great first impressions and relationship networking. Cat knows how to create excitement, and understands the need to be personal with every story to help audiences (knowing each audience has their own unique requirements) to identify with the company.

Catalina works out of our Los Angeles and London offices

Career highlights include:

Catalina began performing as a violinist at age 7, performing solo by age 12 at the Albert Hall Royal and Royal Festival Hall, followed by receiving a scholarship to attend the prestigious music academy, The Guildhall of Music where she studied violin, piano, and singing.

As a Media Personality, beginning when she was a regular face and fixture of the 'Cool Britannia' scene in the 90's hanging out with friends Prodigy, Oasis, All Saints, Suede, Supergrass, etc. at London's infamous 'Met Bar'. Cat soon became and is still a household name in the UK, launching her television career with a co-hosting personality role aside Chris Evans on the award winning and most popular weekly late night show in the UK, TFI FRIDAY, on UK Ch. 4. A series of opportunities followed including her own shows 'Catalina's Clips' on Granada TV, and 'Spice' on VH1.

Her celebrity status grew when she appeared in the second season of the monster hit show 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here', in the Australian Jungle- the biggest show in the UK, then won the immensely popular UK Saturday night hit show 'Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes' in 2003, followed by an appearance on Back To Reality 2004, and Celebrities Under Pressure. • So here i am, back in LA after my trip to Europe and I have to say its great to come back to the sun, though I am missing the Italian gelato!!!! actually I am on a bit of a diet after eating far to much of the stuff :) when in Rome.........

I was out last night with the band Pendulum! Our friend Pery is the guitarist so hubbie and I went to meet him at the Rainbow. That place really cracks me up...Lemmy of course was there propping up the bar, as well as the 80's hair band left overs... too funny.
Anyway, we had a blast there, turns out the lighting guy used to work on TFI Friday ( my old TV show in the uK with Chris Evans) and the band Pendulum used to be managed by my old friend , Prodigy tour manager John Fairs! Small world!!!!

I'm feeling slightly hung over today but managed to pull of filming the top 10 count down....... well you'll see for yourselves! :)

I am also going in to see my old friend Phil , who is the head of Endemol UK music supervision. He loves what we are doing so i'm hoping he use your music in his shows :)
I am hoping that you guys in London will be around to go for a beer :)

  • Malibu/ Horses/ hubbie and bands!!!

    • Jul 24, 2008 | 11:52am
    • So, here I am , slaving away in the myAWOL HQ, Santa MOnica, getting ready for another crazy weekend looking after myAWOL artists! Luckily, tis weekends show is in MALIBU, so I can't really complain as, being a beach bunny, I am but a hop and a skip from the sand and sea :)
We have 4 great bands playing acoustic sets: Saturday is Larry Bagby and Intercept, Sunday; Una and Trevor Davis...
I'm hoping it won't be too hot in Hollywood as I have to ride Grace mid day , so I can get to the beach in time.
Ahhhh its like having a child! Actually there's not much difference between having a husband, horse or looking after bands... Its all a big responsibility... but REALLY WORTH IT!
