The Bob Barker Bloodbath’s Bio
A most influential band from the High Desert of Southern California with two vocalists that can really lay it down, to a band that can throw you off your tempo. You can't find this signature brand of throw you off southern boogie anywhere else.
These five guys are definitely in it for the music and most definitely in it for the long haul.
Nathan Fletcher - A singer/songwriter of eight years and an artist/entertainer since he was four years old. Besides doing all of the artwork for the band, you might find this guy on stage singing or out at the clubs performing his off the cuff style stand up comedy.
Glenn Mattlock - A singer/songwriter of three years, he invented the name The Bob Barker Bloodbath as a joke in September of '05 with hopes of starting an old school hardcore band. Recruiting William on guitar and Jamie on drums, the three amigos soon realized that they were something more than an "old school hard-core" band.
Zack Martinez - A drummer at heart, Zack started his first high-school band featuring William on guitar. They started out covering songs from Motley Crue, Guns N' Roses, and Ozzy to Rage Against The Machine and Iron Maiden. Soon after they lost touch. In this time Zack gets a bass guitar, tells William about this awesome godsend, and has been playing bass with William ever since.
William von Arx - A guitar player of thirteen years, his only purpose in life is to shred. He has been jamming all over the High Desert for most of the thirteen years he's been playing. After he lost touch with Zack he formed a new band with members featuring Glenn on drums Nathan on vocals and soon again Zack on bass.
Jamie Baca - A drummer of twelve years and a musical genius. Jamie and William are the main force behind The Bob Barker Bloodbath's unique sound. With influences from Meshuggah to Bjork This young man doesn't confine himself to getting stuck in one genre. This kid does it all.
Listen carefully and the phrase en-genius sound sculptors will come to mind.
