i-94’s Bio

Los Angeles and London: combined, the two music Meccas have been responsible for half the greatest songs of the last four decades. So it's only fitting that when you merge the two into one musical metropolis you get i-94, three English ex-pats and an L.A. musician, who take songwriting to new levels. i-94 formed when band mates Mark and Danny (formally of Bottlefly and signed to Universal) brought in bassist Angelo, and once they hooked up with guitarist Matt, who was a friend from the U.K., the current line-up of i-94 was born. Despite the fact the band are modern road warriors, having played around the world, the name i-94 doesn't have a thing to do with the interstate highway.It's the immigration/visa waiver form you have to fill out to get into the U.S. as a non-resident. It's called an i-94.

A new album featuring recent movie and tv tracks, entitled "NOT ONLY BUT ALSO" has just hit CD Baby. While you're over checking out the latest tunes, take time to check out the previous release, BITS AND PARTS, which is packed tight with songs that would sound great coming out of your car speakers, computer, iPod, or wherever, right next to U2, Snow Patrol, Lifehouse, Coldplay and Switchfoot. "BITS AND PARTS", reveals the full range of their musical dynamic from the fragile, intimate songs "Hold Me Now" and "Mindless Song" to the catchy sass of "These Days" and crunching, energetic rockers like "When she comes round," "Don't Fade Me Out," and "Know My Name."

    i-94 land!

    Hey everybody, we've had a pretty cool week so far in i-94 land! Last friday ( feb 6th ) we had a song featured on Animal Planets original show "jockey", It's always nice to here one of your own tunes on the tv! And this Thursday ( feb 12th ) our version of 2 tickets to paradise is airing on the Speed Channel during gatorades raceday tease. We also got our singer back from an extended xmas vacation in the UK. However, not sure if that's a good or bad thing! And now we extend a hearty and ball bouncingly sincere invitation to come, shuffle and sway and possibly even vomit to the rocking sounds of i-94! Yes ladies and gents, St Patrick's day is fast approaching and we are performing at Molly Malones irish pub. Can you truly resist the chance to overdose on cheep beer dyed green combined with the sweet smell of stale booze and cheap aftershave, served up with good cheer and a healthy dollop of profanity! If you, like us, enjoy sharing peace, love and the contents of your stomach with your fellow man, then join us! All of this and more can be yours... if you only dare to dream!     Thank you!

    Hi everyone. Just wanted to thank all of you that came down to Molly's on friday night. We know you have lots of choices of cool things to do with your precious weekend nights so we're chuffed to bits that you chose us! Hope you all enjoyed yourselves....we did!     Molly Malones on Friday!

    November gigs!!

    Hey folks. Looks like November's gonna be a busy month for us. On top of putting the final touches to our new album, which will be ready very soon, we've gone and got ourselves a few gigs! On 3 consecutive fridays in November we'll be playing in the LA area, and as we haven't played for a while we're really looking forward to being back on stage.     Album tracks!

    Hey guys. Well at the moment we're trying to whittle 20 songs down to about 10 or 12 for the new album. As you might expect it's proving a little tricky...but we'll get there! There's 5 or 6 that we're all pretty much agreed on, and as for the rest ...well its pistols at dawn!! Only kidding, but of course we all have slightly different opinions of what we like and what 'works'....that's one of the joys of being in a band! Its not all glamour you know! There are serious life changing decisions to make......no really! Anyway, watch this space for an update. Cheers!
