  • I can already smell the beer and the barbecue, which of course means that SXSW 2010 is nearly upon us.

    Here at LP33 we are already surrounded by boxes; eagerly packing for what will surely fucking madness.

    Were particularly excited about the first ever LP33 showcase taking place at Soho Lounge Thursday March 18th. The line up includes The Black Atlantic, Ben Rector, Afghan Raiders, The Nervous Wreckords, Figo and Fenech Solar.

  • Many of you who follow me (lp33.tv/ilroberto, twitter.com/robtherocket, facebook.com/ilroberto) probably know of my affinity for outdoor pursuits, cycling in particular. I raced on the road for 11 years, and I’ve worked in the industry at various times and capacities for just as long. • SXSW Watch – Cubic Zirconia

  • Downtown NYC electro favorites Cubic Zirconia are hitting the road and doing it old school on the way to SXSW.

    In addition to their officialSouth By showcase (and a few unofficial, but officially bangingparties, including an I Heart Comix/Mad Decent carnival w/ Major Lazer, Amanda Blank and Ninjasonik!), they'll be hitting Chicago, Cleveland,St. Louis (MO), and Oklahoma City. Sporting a stage show fully equipped with male and female go-godancers, visuals and more, Cubic Zirconia will turn the most square of haters into melt-faced bass addicts within two songs.
